Default tranny swap.

I kinda need some help and advice on starting and completing a tranny conversion from auto to manual. My truck is a '99, 3.0L w/ auto and I'm tired of having automatic tranny issues. It already has been rebuilt twice and averages 176,000k per tranny rebuild. I don't want to go through that expense again. I have already acquired a manual tranny, new fly wheel, clutch, pressure plate, and new hydraulics. What I need to know are the following: 1) can I use the original PCM and wiring harness? 2) if not, what do I have to do to make them work? or 3) can anyone out there supply a PCM and harness for a 3.0L ranger? I willing to negotiate. Lastly, my truck is the extended cab, do I need to change out or alter the drive shaft? Please help.

Thanks.

You are griping about having to rebuild the transmission twice in a 22 year old truck? Talk about crazy expectations.

You do know that to get 176,000 miles out of an auto transmission is considered above average, thus the comment.
I apologize for ruining your life with my opinion.
