Default 1997 ford ranger brake question

v6
Have a question about brakes. There's no brake fluid leaking. Reservoir is full of fluid. It started all of a sudden. Very seldom drive.
When I push on brake pedal it goes all the way to floor and no stopping.
Thanks

Did you work on them recently? Sounds like there is air in the line.

No. I haven't worked on for a long time. Don't drive very much. Just around yard and woods.

I'm not low on fluid. I've drove quite awhile, use forward and back as brakes. I don't know what controls pushing brakes and taking out of park but that still works.

From your first post the master cylinder is bad.
The quoted post makes no sense at all, but if you love the thrill of driving with no brakes.....have fun.

I don't quiet understand what doesn't make sense. I drove around woods a lot. Applied brakes several 100 times. Brake fluid is still at same level. Why do you have to push brakes to get out of park, hows that work?

Not sure if your trolling or what......but applying the brakes to shift out of park is a safety feature.
