Default Top bolt on the bellhousing

This is the top driver side bolt on the bellhousing. The bolt is under this bracket. Sofar I havn't been able to get to it.

What is this bracket for? There is a tube with a cap zip tied to it.

Can I just saw it off?

I would not saw it off. It’s definitely a pain but I managed it with a small ratchet and swivel.

I've always used about 2 feet of extensions and reached from the back of the transmission up to the bolts.

As for the tube that's the transmission breather line it's usually attached with one of the bell housing bolts and if you follow the hose you will feel where it attaches to the transmission and can disconnect it and pull it down.

Thanks for the help. Do you know what size the nuts are on the flex plate? I round one over.IMGP4705.jpg

I’ll say a 10 or 12 mm socket would fit that from what I can see.
