has any one put a e150 fuel tank in the rear of their ranger?

- Interesting concept, has anyone even measured between the rails to see if it will fit.

I was told that someone on this forum has done it. The e150 tank is about 11inch tall x 33.5inch long x 23.5 wide. I can,t measure myy frame its at my moms barn right now .

Why the hell would you want to put an E150 fuel tank on your Ranger? That's just silly.

Because I want a rear tank to do away with front tank so not to be in the way of my mufflers.

Seems like a lot of fabricating including relocating the spare tire to the bed for no real benefit I can think of.
If it makes you happy to do this then good luck.

Since you obviously are clueless as to safety........what happens if you go ahead with your stupid idea and then get into a crash? That must be taken into consideration.

Was it a stupid idea when ford did it on the ranger: back in the 80s?
