Default Higher on driverís side than passengerís side

Need some help. I recently was hit in my ranger on the driverís side fender area. Not a huge wreck but it put a dent in the side and alignment was off. Had it on a frame machine to make sure nothing was bent and readings came back all within specs. BUT, while the truck drives pretty well I noticed it feels like Iím sitting higher up and it rides a little stiffer on the driverís side.

I donít know much about suspension but I know you can adjust the heigh by turning the torsion bars, but that screws up suspension. Do they mess with the T bars when doing an alignment? Iím wondering if the only way they could get it to drive straight was to crank one side up higher than the other. Otherwise I canít figure out why it is higher on that side. Itís higher both in front and back on drivers side about an inch.

I did see it looks like oil leaking from shock on passenger side but unless Iím dead wrong here (which very well could be the case) the failing shock wouldnít cause front and back on that side to sag by an inch right?

Any suggestions would really be helpful. I plan on replacing the shocks but want the thing to be level AND drive straight and Iím wondering even though the frame isnít bent if Iím going to have to choose between driving straight or having truck be level after the wreck.

Default Re: Higher on driverís side than passengerís side

Just measured from wheelwell to ground on all four. Front driver side 33 and 3/16 inches, front passenger side 32 and 7/16 inches. Back driver side 34 5/16 inches and back passenger side 32 9/16 inches. Truck has half a tank of gas. I know that can affect how high the driver side is a little bit but surely not almost two inches between the back driver and passenger sides and almost an inch on front driver and passenger side right? Checked shackles, leaf springs on back and other than the failing shock on the front passenger side no other noticeable differences. So torsion bar likely needs to be adjusted on driver side to lower? But then Iím guessing if they cranked it like that to drive straight it wonít drive straight anymore if we lower it?
