yea i think so. hes asking 6500 for it and it only has 59k miles on it, i think thats still a deal even if its been in an accident and everything was repaired? So i should look for the inserts in the seats and anything else? thanks for all the help so far.

I had an accident with my ZX2. Hood, front bumper, both fenders, and power steering pump were replaced at the shop my insurance company recommended. Never showed up in the Carfax report.

I can tell from the pics the inserts are not present actually. My only concern if it was in an accident is possible frame damage. Make sure the title is clear and not salvaged.

Do'h I think it is just the FX4 OffRoad package, not the level II package.

All in all still a very odd package. It has an EDGE valance, a 2wd XLT grille, I am pretty sure those wheels were only found on the EDGE, I still think both FX4 trims had a black or tan carpet option only.

Anyone else ever seen Ranger seats with the lumbar support like this one is shown to have??

Those wheels were found on Edge with 4wd from what I recall

mine came with them but it was a factory mistake since it was just 2wd

So i've been doing some research about 03 rangers and came to this conclusion:

So 03 fx4's came with the honeycomb grille, plastic front bumper, and rear sliding window. My theory is that the ranger was rear ended which caused the rear window to break. Then it rear ended the car infront of it. So it got repaired and they put another model's grille, bumper, and rear window on it. That would explain everything right? What do you guys think? My question is did fx4 lvl 1 come with the bilstien shocks and front torrison bars, i will be looking for those when i go down and look at the truck, which will most likely be tommarow. Thanks again for all the help.

Yeah they all have the damn torsion bars
According to Justin earlier in this thread, the first year for the Level II was '03, so the Level I would not have the Bilsteins.

right side picture.... look at the rear bumper... if i'm not mistaken, the bumper looks tweaked! That could explain why there's a recycling crate butted up against it! if there has been damage, and the guy is trying to make it out to be an FX4, I wouldn't even waste my time if I were you... the deal looks a little skiddish to me and wouldn't you rather spend $6500 on something that hasn't had a broken/hidden history! Just my $.02

Good luck!
