Angry 2003 Regular Cab 4cl Diagnoses

Okay, I was driving down the highway after I just bought this truck for nine hundred bucks. I bought it knowing that first gear was out, and it had an exhaust leak. Everything else on his truck is near perfect. In order to drive I would just put it in second, then once it got going gently put it up into drive in that worked well. On my way home, everything seems to be fine, other than it being a little noisy. After driving it exactly 36 miles on the highway, I noticed a big power loss so I got over and then the truck died. About three minutes before that I seen my oil pressure gauge go to zero. And I noticed that my battery gauge was pretty low. I tried to turn it over and it seemed like the battery was dead. A little background behind the vehicle the kid says that the engine was rebuilt about 80,000 miles ago. I asked him for my money back and he said no lol. What's potentially wrong with it?
Should I put money into this truck? Or should I sell it as is. Keep in mindI'm a broke single dad, that saved up $1,000 over the course of six months to buy a decent little vehicle that ran. Once again, everything else on the truck aesthetically is near perfect. Thanks for any help.

Sell the truck and if the body and engine are in great shape you should get more than what you paid for it.

If it is pretty much near perfect, you might be able to try selling it for more than 900. If you don't get what you want, maybe part it out?

Did you try just simply jump starting it? You may just have a bad alternator and lost power.

Sounds like the engine seized up.
