Default Recommendation for a good LED light bar for front grill?

Taking some quick measurements, it looks like the top row of the front grill will accommodate something about 22" long and 1-3/4" tall.

Does anyone have experience with installing a light bar in either this location (indicated by #1) or below on the bumper (indicated by #2) and have recommendations for a specific unit?

I do a lot of driving into remote areas at night and need to throw some more light!

It appears that for some reason no one mounts LED light bars on the grill or bumper of their Ranger...I have spent about an hour google image searching and haven't found anything other than some really schlocky youtube videos.. Plenty of examples of roof-mounted bars, but I don't like the way they look when mounted above the windshield of a pickup unless it has racks (and I don't like the glare off the hood).

If anyone has experience (positive or negative) with LED light bars on the grill or bumper, I'd be grateful to learn about it.

Thanks

Couldn't find exactly what you are looking for but here is something very similar. Just have to use your imagination a little bit.

I'll throw in some input. I've done this on both of my Rangers. My '84 had the light mounted on top of the bumper. It was a 2 row led light, 21" long. And very bright. My '00 has it mounted in the bottom of the bumper. It is a 20" single row. It's bright enough to easily drive with. Lights up the sides of the road very well. The double row is the way to go.

Thanks. Do you say the double row is the way to go because it is brighter, or because you're happier with the mounting position on the bumper?

Double row is definitely the way to go. Much brighter.
