Default Where is this oil coming from?

I have wiped it off of these areas and it has returned. I think I can see traces of it up above past the oil filter. Anyone else have this issue before?

Could be the valve cover, and on the back of the left one, there's pipe connection with a rubber gromlet, could be from there too.

Would this create an odor too. My truck stinks when I get out. Is that a fairly easy fix? I also have slow to start/turn over issues.

Burning oil stinks so... Yes... The start issue is unrelated.

Don't know about your slow start, but the smell is probably from that leaking oil getting on the very hot exhaust pipes. And doing anything to the top of a 4.0 isn't easy.

Well... i mispoke, the starter issue is PROBABLY unrelated but if a ton of oil has leaked onto the starter it could have caked up the windings. Unlikely but not impossible.

I wouldn’t say a ton. It doesn’t even make it to the ground below the truck. I only noticed the smell and when I was under the truck doing the transmission fluid change I saw the droplets.
