2001 ford expedition

I have a 2000 ranger 4x4 with a 3.0 bad engine.
I'm thinking about buying a 2001 ford expedition with a rebuilt 4.6 V8.
I is a 4x4.
Is this a factory installed size engine?
Will it fit in my Ranger?
Will seats and center console fit?

Unless you plan on doing alot of custom fabricating, no the 4.6 will not fit. It is a much wider engine than the 5.0's that are sometimes swapped from explorers. Neither the 4.6 or 5.0 were ever offered stock in a ranger. As for seats and console no idea.

I mean stock in the Ford Expedition.

Yes they were a stock option in the expedition. They had either a 4.6 or 5.4

4.6 has less issues then the 5.4
