Default What size tire do you ride?

Got a 2000 Ranger with 225/70/15. Think they're a little smaller than I'd like but I'll updrade in a little bit. What size tires do you all have, and did it mean lifting?

On my 2000 Ranger 4x4 I went from 245/75R-16's up to 265/75R-16's. I did not have to lift it but I did crank the torsion bars to get the truck to sit more level.

235/75r15s on 15x8. No lift, possibly lowered like an inch in front or saggy coils. Rear lowered 2" by drop shackles. Only rub at full driver lock and it hits the plastic on the inner fender that protects the parking brake line.

At time of pics.. 33" DynaPro MT's on 17x8 wheels with 2.00" leveling kit up front and 1.70" of lift with HD spring kit rear, 1.25" spacers all the way around.

Now the truck has a 2.00" body lift. Only have a touch of rubbing on the sway bar at full lock and new tires come in this week at 33.7" which puts them as a 34" listing by whatever standard of odd measurements or addition tire industry considers...

Mine is on the stock 225 70R14 and I'm thinking I'd like to go one size bigger.
Plus since I'm up in the hills quite a bit, I'd like more of an all terrain tire and not the tires that are on it...
Anyone know what size I can go to without rubbing?

On my 2011 4x4 XLT Ranger, I run 235 75R 15 General Grabbers. Good tire, and not too noisy!

265/75r16

You should be able to run 245/75r16 or 265/75/15 as both are 30 inch tires.

Hey man does your truck have the 4.0 or 3.0? My 2000 4x4 has the 4.0 and 5 speed and 235s on 15" wheels. I'm just wondering how much the 31-10.5 x 15s will hurt the power and fuel mileage on this truck..? I love the looks of 31s but I'm afraid they will kill the power and what fuel mileage in the truck. I'm trying to decide on 30x9.5 / 15s or 31 x 10.5 / 15s..
