Default 4.56 years, 35" tires, and a 5.0?

Hello all. I have a 2000 Ford Ranger 4x4 that currently has a 3.0 with a 4r44e trans and 4.56 gears. I'm putting a 5.0 v8 and 4r70w out of a 2000 explorer in it. What sort of problems am I going to run into with that much gear?

Is it an auto or manual? I see no major issues right off the bat.

Sounds absolutely perfect to me. I wish I had 4.56 gears!

Same as you have now, only with more power and Tq.. 5.0L will also have slightly different shift points than the 3.0L had possibly running slightly less RPM.

i'll be running 4.88 with the 4.0L OHV until I move forward with the Cummins swap.
