Default Camper Shell Damaged in transit..wwyd?

Ordered a color matched ARE shell for my 2007 six-weeks ago.
Dealer calls today and said the shell was damaged in transit and
has been sent back for repair-paint.
I'm thinking about requesting a refund verses having a repaired shell.
What do you think about the issue? Should I accept a repaired shell or
demand a new shell-refund?
Kind of sucks, needed it for a hunting-camping trip next month.

Thanks,

Domenic

This or let them fix it and then you inspect it very closely inside and out. If it shows anything then be stern on your negotiations.

^^ This..

But you need to witness the damage, don't take someone else's word for it because they'll downplay it, and then cut corners to save face and ass with management..

Well the story changed from the manufacture now, a bubble was spotted in the paint
and sent back for repair-repaint? This relayed from the companies logistics supervisor.
The main issue is the very poor customer service. All the representatives have been rude
and basically said tough luck.
Yes I would prefer a refund at this point. I paid new prices for a new product, this would
be like buying a new car at sticker knowing it has been wrecked and repaired.
Guess I'm losing confidence in receiving a quality product that will last.
Thanks for all the input.
