2010 2.3 stick reg cab w/ reverse gear AND REAR DISC BRAKES.

Anyone know off hand if the rear caliper on the rear DISC brakes is traditional kind you compress back with C clamp for new brake pads for more room or the spin kind that requires special tool to spin it back?

Im restoring my 2010 ranger and replacing worn out parts as i go. It needs beefy new rear brake discs and beefy good rear brake pads as i tow my new yfz450r on long downhills at a time in the highway. Im open for your "i swear on these...." Comments and recommendations.

Its a lot more fun to wheel on a quad or dirtbike than it is on any truck....

It has 244 thousand miles and wants more and more bhhuuuuiaaaahaaaaa!!

Considering the rear brakes make up LESS than 30% of your total braking.. I'd run the best of what your budget allows and then invest in far better front brakes.

Your YZ450 ain't that heavy of a load even at a 6-8% grade if you mind yourself to the 55-65 MPH trailer speed limits you should be able to drop the truck down a gear using the engine as an engine brake, then keep it under control with the reg brakes and keeping your wits about ya.

short of that, don't over analyze it...
