Hi!

I have a 4.0l that I bought a year ago. Previous owner did a seat swap from what I believe a ford expedition. The air bag light has been on since and cannot be deleted by a code scanner I borrowed. I got a recall letter to bring the truck in to service the passenger airbags. Will the dealer force me to fix the air bag light during the recall replacement ?

Ford will tell you to install a stock seat, and then they will install the air bag.......not before for liability reasons.
