Default Clutch pedal return stop..

Neighbor installed my clutch, pressure plate , throw bearing and pilot bearing along with the slave cylinder. The old clutch pedal was way up high.New clutch is about half as high, works great no slipping. He says there should be a stop on my clutch pedal that's missing. You can hear a ticking sound unless there is a little pressure on the pedal. He put a bolt with vise grips on the pedal which works but i need the correct part. I have no idea what its called or what it looks like.2000 Ford Ranger, 3.0 flex,5 spd 4x4 off road.

Default Re: Clutch pedal return stop..

Yea.. a picture of the clutch pedal assembly and above it would be easier to notice just what may be missing.
