Is there any other ranger forums people use that are actually active? This one use to be great but now its dead.

Facebook has nearly killed most of the forums out there. Not just Ranger forums.

Facebook will die and forums will return. I am convinced of that. Facebook is like a can of gasoline and forums are like a large chunk of coal. Light them both and see what happens

Facebook will be losing me soon. Every website I go to looking for goods shows up on my news feed as an add after I visit the website. Don't want them knowing anymore about what I do.

I dont think its fully facebook fault instead of your cookie/browser/historics/pc etc... GOOGLE!!! They watch you!!(insert aluminium cap here)

I am on most of the ranger forums and also a lot of facebook ranger groups. I much prefer the forum style over facebook. To me it's much easier to view content on the forums and search for things as opposed to facebook. It's also easier to talk to people in terms of getting information out and being able to do how-to's.

I will note that there are some cool things on some of the fb groups that isn't really posted here on forums such as unique builds or just custom things done. But to that same point a ton of lightbar pictures and shitty ebay headlights/HID in stock housing posts.

I've seen several forums go dead over the years due to lack of user participation. They slowly die off and eventually someone stops paying to maintain/store the data. I was a moderator on a couple of those forums. I've been around a long time though. Since the internet took off or pre-internet and pre-cell phone. lol

With FB, people are on there for other reasons, so it's easier for them to participate in Ranger/other groups. A lot of forums are just circling the drain.

I have a "special interest" in forums, since I own a very small hosting company and host mostly forums.

I have my own forum software that I bought the rights to in 2006 and have been building since then.

I met my wife on a forum.

I love forums, they will be a part of my life till I can't use my fingers any more.
