so I'm about to attempt my first suspension upgrade from original parts. next year she will be 20, I've had it about 3years and I can say she has been good to me, highway & city. what are you guys recommending me as good shocks and struts to purchase. looking to keep the truck as an old school and drives to the lake

The use of your trucks basic info in your signature helps me and others help you, consider taking the time to visit your CP panel so that makes everything easier for all.

That being said, 1999 Extra/std cab, XLT or XL, Not that it necessarily applies in this instance really but auto or manual?

2WD or 4WD?

Front Coil/Rear Leaf or front torsion bars? Unsure?

it's a 99 xlt v6 4 .0 trying to upgrade my suspension all the way around
