"Word that Ford is bringing forth a Raptor version of the Ranger mid-size pickup truck is not quite a surprise, but it's still exciting. Unfortunately, that news comes with one massive caveat: It won't be coming to the U.S. — at least for now."

"The 2019 Ford Ranger is Colorado-sized, with a single wheelbase accommodating SuperCab (extended cab with rear-hinged rear doors) and SuperCrew (crew cab with four full doors) cab styles.
Because there will be just one wheelbase (at launch, anyway) that means the SuperCab will get the longer 6-foot bed and the SuperCrew the shorter 5-foot one. So, there will be no 6-ft. bed with the SuperCrew cab, which is offered by Chevrolet, GMC, Nissan, and Toyota."
