Floor Pan Replacements?
Hi Everyone!
Registered here specifically to ask this question, apologies if this has been answered before, I'm still learning to use the App.
I own a 2000, Extended Cab, Flair Side.
She isn't a show car or anything, just my daily driver, but I do however LOVE my truck.
Unfortunately the 17 years of Central New York winters (salted roads) have taken their toll on the drivers side floor pan, and it's rotted a hole straight through.
No big deal right? I have the skill and the means to just order up a replacement pan, cut out the old, and weld on the new, would be a fun weekend project actually.
Here is the issue though, literally HOURS of googling and I can not find a floor pan replacement anywhere. So, before I head to just buy some sheet metal, and cram it into all the cram holes and hide my cob job back up with the carpet (I can weld, but am by no means a fabricator by any stretch) I wanted to make sure I wasn't an idiot, and this part truly doesn't exist, or to see if anyone who may have ran into a similar issue found a better solution.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Floor Pan Replacements?
As far as I️ know, there aren’t any pre-made patch panels for the floor pans. I️ made my own out of 18 gauge sheet metal. There are some pictures of it in my build thread. It wasn’t incredibly pretty, but once bedlined and covered with carpet, it doesn’t look half bad.

Re: Floor Pan Replacements?
If the floor is rotted through I can imagine how compromised the frame must be.

Re: Floor Pan Replacements?
Ford themselves sell patching panels for that. Found that out when browsing their website for a header panel.

Re: Floor Pan Replacements?
The floorpan on mine is now the bedside off a dodge ram. Cut, weld, seam seal, POR15, bedlinder, done.
