Default 2019 "Raptor" Ranger..?

Don't know if anyone has caught these two vids but.. I thought worth sharing...

Damn but to see a $40k Ranger.. I'd almost would rather spend a bit less and buy a Euro Cosworth Escort and go pick on Suby/Mitsu owners on AND off road..

It kind of defeats the purpose of the ranger. It's supposed to be an affordable smaller truck for someone who doesn't need/can't afford a bigger truck. It looks sweet though.

LOL I just posted that second vid somewhere else a couple days ago.

I think people expect to pay over 30K for new cars these days. I can see a 10 year auto loan in the future of the USA.

There will be plenty of old cheap rangers you can keep buying.

Everyone always said "we want a four door diesel ranger" or a ranger with a v8 or ecoboost. Then people always complained they didn't update it with new interior features.

Now you complain that they started doing those things and you still want to be able to get it for $18k. Wake up, full size trucks are going for 60k+ and base model into the low 30's. Midsize truck market is high end 40k now.

Like I said, there will be plenty of old rangers to buy for cheap if that is what you want, or wait another 10 years and get one of these coming out for 15k.

I agree..

And after doing HONEST car sales for 10 years, IF anyone was to go more than 72 months on an automotive loan, YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS buying a car financially.

To be totally honest, unless you're buying an older truck like ours to mod and use like we do, or to lower it for styling, make a car fast or restore it.. A used vehicle is the best way to go for a purchase.

As far as NEW car, lease it.. DO NOT buy a new car. Especially if its for the better half. take out a 2-3 year lease, its under warranty the entire time Bumper to bumper, and as long as you put the average in mileage on it, financially you'll come out even or maybe on top. New car purchases...? Its beyond calling it just a racket.

I've had 2 loans with terms over 72 months and enjoyed every minute of it. I'm financially stable so what's the big deal

Financially stable enough to afford both lemons and bananas. I'll get there some day.

Well to be fair it's only one banana...but it's apples and oranges, nothing is an absolute

When it's paid off the vehicle is worth less than half what you paid for it. A 72 month loan won't get you a good interest rate either.

And some wonder why this man wants to sit in the front of the class...

Longer term, more interest. THE ONLY reason to go 72 months is to give yourself a buffer for a lower payment WITH THE THOUGHT and ACTION of paying more each month. I.E. The woman and I have a 2013 Nissan Xterra 4x4 we just purchased. We took out only a 60 month loan because that got our payment in a comfortable $347.xx monthly payment.

We pay $425 a month regardless whittling down the payment from the front side on a monthly factor. As same payments are made, paying the extra on the principle of the loan not only eats away at the interest but makes the payment overall smaller considering the first two years of payments is nearly 70% interest in a loan.. I'm not about banking like that, its stupid.

On top of that, we're making two complete payments a year alone on the principle of the loan. That action alone would take a 60mo loan and allow you to pay it off in just a little over 3.5 years vs 5 yrs whittling away the backside of the loan obviously in chunks.

Leasing also has the advantage as I stated above to NOT pay anything for repairs for the term of a lease in either 2 or 3 year packages. Most times these dealers have small add on packages that allow for even your basic of maintenance to be dealt with.

As Dvrich pointed out the interest paid far out weighs the value left in the vehicle. sadly it NO longer pays to buy a new car UNLESS its as a certified preowned TBH.

A three lease year will have a better residual and if your buying the car at the end mileage wont even matter.

At the end of the lease, you can walk away, reinvest into another lease, or my favorite.. Shop your car on the used lots. I've found same cars going for $2500-5k more than what I owe 4-6 months out from my lease turn-ins. I sell it outright for $XXXX.XX, pay off the loan, MAKE MONEY on my lease turn in.

Bank doesnt care how it gets paid off or where the money even comes from and as long as the new owner doesnt mind waiting 15-30 days (depending on state) for the Certificate of title... Bonus !

YOU HAVE TO OUT THINK THESE BANKS because they're capitalizing on all the idiots at an exponential rate its disgusting...!

Besides, if you actually read ALL of the fine print in a contract, you would never sign it.. Bet ?!

I have some additional information worth sharing.. ill post it later should anyone be interested.

Here is an actual court case with regards to loans. Loans of any kind... Credit Card, Mortgage, Automotive, Personal, otherwise. I think you'll be shocked at the outcome of this testimony.

When I would tell people that YOUR signature, is what gives the bank the money NOT the bank giving you the money and then referenced you back to HJR 192 (House Joint Resolution 192) things should start to click in your head..

Knowing this information long ago bothered immensely the honest man in me. I no longer wanted to be a part of the fraud that is just to protect a paycheck while selling cars. This is why I read law, this is why I read US Code, US Title, Statutes, and contract law. To know and define truth and reality, to keep myself honest and lawful.

When I say you will truly never own anything in this world, it wasn't stated as a cliché.. it was fact!

All rights are derived from property, if you don't own any property you aren't truly free!
