Default Shackle Flipper ???

Have no plans to lower my truck, but while bolting up my new shackles and mounts today, I got wondering how you lower lifes do the flip.
Do you reverse the mounts?

When I had lowered mine I flipped the mounts and replaced the rivets with grade 8 bolts.

I wouldn't do it that way again if I wanted to lower my truck again. It changed my pinion angle and destroyed my pinion seal.

Thanks Simon, I was just curious when looking at the mounts, and it looked like the only way to gain clearance for the shackles to hinge.
Ya, changing the pinion angle too much is a good way to hurt things.

If I ever lowered again I'd do it properly! Not worth the headaches.

LOL, do it right, do it once. It's always cheaper and easier in the long run.
