Smile 1994 ford ranger xlt 4 cylinder, manual trans,

Hello all, I've been searching for a small truck to use for hauling yard waste & other stuff here & there in my small town. Does anyone know if the 1994 ranger xlt 4 cylinder with manual transmission was/is a good pickup? The one I'm going to check out this week supposedly has 80k original miles with zero rust! It's got a clean interior as well. The guy said he just replaced the fuel pump along with the sending unit. He also cleaned the tank. He said he replaced the filler neck as well. The person selling it said the front right break line is leaking. How much does that cost to fix? He also said the solenoid was clicking when you start. He's a ford guy who normally works on model t's mostly old fords. This one is something he got out of a 3 car package deal. He says he doesn't have a need for the truck & time to work on it anymore because of all the other projects. I'm not a mechanic. I don't know much about that stuff so I'm looking here for advice please. He's asking 2500 for it. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Break repair costs? Reliability of this year model? & asking price? As I said it's not going to be my daily driver but I don't want a money pit either. Thanks

$2500 for a 1994 Ranger regular cab is crazy, just walk away.

Yup, the more I researched & thought about the truck, I realized it's probably got at 180k not 80k on it along with other money eating issues. I really wish ford wasn't planning on making a larger ranger for its come back. The smaller truck is all I & many people need. When you look at the new Tacoma, Colorado & other brands they're damn there as big as a full size! Not to mention cost just about as much as a base full size truck! Ill keep searching for that gem though. Something that's not a dinosaur but not 10-15k either for a wknd warrior. Peace all!
