Decided to take the family to a little getaway way north of Columbus but still south of Cleveland. Point is I'm hours from home base.

Clicked on Craigslist. Big mistake. In minutes I had sealed a deal on ANOTHER 2000 ranger, listed as "Mechanic says it needs $2500 in brake work"

I stole this one for the mileage, it has under 74,000 miles. It was a property maintenance vehicle and has a tool box. I talked to him and he says it has blown lines.

2.5L, automatic.

That's not my yard LOL it is the apartment complex that was using it for grounds maintenance.

I'm home and actually touched it today, heard it run. Incredibly smooth. Needs a major clean up but isn't stained or smoked in it is just dirty. Bed has a gob of small scratches. No check engine light, exhaust is solid, frame is one of the best I have seen in Ohio.

He lied about the miles, it has just over 70,000

And a Border Collie that likes it too!!

Nothing a bedliner dropped in or sprayed in cant fix...

Has a bed liner, looks like they carried pipes and stuff the scratches are on the top of the bed and a little down the sides.

I'll fix the brakes and drive it on and off for a month see how it goes. Detail it slowly, fix all the little problems and see how much I can get for it. No plans on keeping this is just a flipper.
