First time user, long time follower.
Back in 2013, I picked up a 2003 level II twin sticks white ranger.
Came pretty beat up and being a kid in university, not much I could do/afford.
Now though, I have a little time and some extra $$.
Im new to this and cant invest too much. Lots of dents and bumps and easy fixes for sure but still trying to make this daily driver/ off road beast looking and sounding good.
Previous work: New ball joints, newish tires, new exhaust, rear brakes and E brake cables (after leaving my lights on while parked on a hill, rusted through e brake cable... trying to get a jump with a manual and no e brake, on a steep hill..)
Thursdays work: New serpentine belt, transmission fluid change (get to go through the cab, that fill plug is seized!!), coolant flush, new sway bar links (old ones snapped) and new brake fluid.
Sundays Work: Body Day
Previous owner put a nice layer of truck bed liner on the bottom. Chipped off pretty good over the years.
Time to redo.
Sand the area. Going to try two styles because one side is worse than the other. One side I brought down to almost bare metal. Other I just roughed up and scraped off bad paint, truck bed liner and rust. Lets see how they hold up.
Primed
Bed lined
Also oiled the plastic, got a new grille coming tonight. Going to do some more body work to get rid of some rust and spots with no paint. quite a bit of body damage, but meh its an offroad truck.
Thinking those rims gotta go.
Always looking for a new transmission
Thats it for now
