Default Like my ranger maybe want a 2nd one, lol

Since I have a 3.0 long bed automatic I think if I was to get a 2nd Ranger I'd want a 2.3 manual trans, ext cab as a more efficient DD. Don't think XL's came in that configuration so I would probably be looking for XLT's?

Well are you looking for a brand new one or used? If you go used and want a manual good luck with that. It will be difficult to find. The one I have is an auto although I wanted manual. Everywhere I went and asked for manual they just look at you. Then I go yea you know that thing where the human driver actually has to select the gears. Then I also must ask do you know how to drive manual? The reason I ask is because if you don't do it right you will fuck it up. Even rangers with the 2.3L and extended cab are hard to find. Most I see on cars.com are the fleet ones. Standard cabs, autos and AM/FM stereo. I have only really looked on cars.com. You might have better luck somewhere else. If you buy brand new you can get the XL with extended cab. The problem is the 2010 XL doesn't have a bed liner option anymore. How that makes sense I don't know.

The reason why manuals are hard to find is because people don't want them anymore people would rather drive an automatic. You come here to Canada you can still get the 4.0's in manual there are alot up here but they are slowly dwindling them down. Its rare that you find an F350 or F250 or even F450 in a manual even other car companies its rare to have a standard now. I say if you want a second Ranger get one that makes you happy you might be hyped to get a manual and hate it to death.

Here in the USA all new F-250s and up no longer have the manual transmission option. You can still get the ranger in manual with any engine option in the USA still. I was only saying it would be hard to find one. I personally love manual. After the ranger I have now they will all be manuals until manual is finally gone. Then I am moving to Europe. Where it is the other way around and most people still drive manual.

Depends which province you're talking about.

When i ordered my truck, we looked in ontario, quebec and maritimes. All manuals were bone stock no options trucks. The stuff i wanted was on special order only, go figure with our heats of the last few years a standard with a/c and power windows would be unheard of..
