Default '03+ rotor fitment on 2000 with 15 inch wheels

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 with 15x8 Ion Alloy Series 174 wheels. My truck is SuperLifted so it has both sets of holes for caliper mounting on the spindle/steering knuckle. I'm wanting to put 03+ rotors on it because they're a little bit bigger. I would mount the caliper in the outside holes. Am I going to run into any clearance issues being I'm on 15's?

I'm not familiar with aftermarket rims, but all 03+ trucks had the option of 15" rims. As long as your rim has enough room inside (you may have to measure) it should work.

It really depends on the wheel, my OEM 15x7s rubbed but my steel 15x8s don't. Buy a rotor from a local store to test fit with the old 01 pads and if it clears buy the 03 style pads and other rotor.

Yeah. I have 15x8 Ion Alloys with pretty decent backspacing. And like the previous poster said, 03+ rangers did come with 15" wheels so I'm thinking I should be good. Correct me if I'm wrong?

All going to depend on offset and wall thickness of the wheel. It may work, it may not.

Its a 2000. So the calipers and pads are the same? Its just the rotor thats different?

Calipers are the same but the pads are different between the 2 rotor sizes.

Looks like I may just have to stick with the smaller 2000 brakes then. Im ordering them online so I dont want to have to return them
