Default Honest assessment

Aloha gang...Out of the blue, a coworker asked me if I was interested in selling him my truck and give him a number. I thought he was joking but he wasn't.. I had never thought about it so was taken by surprise. Just curious what you guys think. 64,000 miles, well maintained.

Thanks

Well, whenever someone comes to me and wants to buy something of mine, and it's not for sale but they want a number, then that number is a reflection of how bad I want to get rid of it. With that in mind, the price is therefore whatever you want it to be, and with the big picture in mind, and of course, we have no idea what the market is down there so we really don't know what a "going price" would be. It should reflect what you want to replace it with (affordability, time to find something you like, etc).

indeed, no rust on frame. Washed at least once a week for that reason...

I'd say 12k. It's a nice truck. Reason for my high price is, where are you gonna find another one in that condition with tasteful mods done.

I'm trying so hard to figure out how to post a question and I'm really sorry. Catching onto yours but after an hour or so this is the only way I can figure out how to do it my apologies and I hope some of you can help me out
I have a 2008 Ford Ranger four-cylinder for the Mattick today with the storm we had in the Northeast it was mostly rain and bad rain and I had to go through a puddle that was pretty darn deep and she made it through at the end of the puddle you could tell she was struggling a bit because the tide was so high when the water was coming over the embankment but she made it She ran a bit rough and I kept a running I didn't idol parked in my driveway for an hour and she ran much smoother after that I turned it off and turned her on and off a couple of times and everything seemed better I went out three hours later turned her on and the engine light the yellow engine light is now on I took out the WD-40 and I sprayed the wires around the distributor cap and everything took off For another ride around the island and she ran smoother than ever only a little tiny bit of hesitation and the light will not go off what have I done do you think it's because they're still wetness in the wires or something what can I do myself

Size matters, saw lots of newer Tacoma's this last visit. Rangers are a great sized truck on the islands.

For the longest time Rangers were the truck for the lifeguards along the north shore.
If the right person really wants it...$12-13k. is not too out of line.

Yep you need to think about a different ride brah...looks like you got a keiki...congrats.

Maui is definitely Taco country...lol. Yeah my son(4 yr old) loves this truck. If I were to sell it he would be pretty mad. I just got my wife a new Colorado z71 for the "family car" so not too bad.

No worries Joanne, In the general discussion page toward the top left, click on the "New Thread" button. Then you pose your question.
