It should fit but some of the body lines may be different. I believe rangers have a slightly taller cab than the old s10.

yeah, width is probably close enough. you might just be sure the length is gonna match. it should, but sure would be a nuisance if it didn't seal on the tailgate!

Thats why i try to get the more info i can because its almost a 2:00 hrs drive to get-it, so a little bit lower is not that bad but like you said if its too long...i can deal with an inch but more than that, it will be a pain in the ...!

If i can get it for the right price, it look pretty good! ..and i will maybe get the truck with the cap...

can the dude measure it for you? i guess it's like a craigslist deal?
just have him measure the outside/front to outside/back so you can compare with your bed, if he's willing!

or you can skim some s10 forums to get a feel for the bed lengths offered. you might pin that one pictured at ~6ft, which is probably what yours is, right?

99 % sure they sit a little lower than the cab. But width an length are close to perfect.

I can deal with less then 2 or 3 inch. It will just make the future roof rack more level with the rest of the truck , less drag!

I hate to deal with people who want to sell something but don't answer their message...

Get a cap made for the ranger.
I'd personally regret getting something not meant for my truck.
Google any site that sells caps or truck bed sizes and compare.

I agree I would hold out for a Ranger Cap. I did I looked for a little while before i found a steal on Leer for 75 bucks. It was tan just had to paint it and its perfect now.

They are very hard to find around here. I want one since i bought my truck 4 year ago and i still cant find one!!! Always too pricey or they are junk!! The only one i know who will fit and even got the right color...live 5 min away from my home....just to piss-me off even more lolol!!!

If you been looking for a cap going on 4 years and still haven't found one....then you really must not need one.
A late model Ranger deserves a new cap and not some poor fitting S-10 cap.
