I just got a new 09..Sport 4.0 luv the truck....my dealer told me that i didnt need to change my oil as with the older Rangers...he said every 7500 is the best because the motor is such high tolorance.....is he right?

Welcome to FRF! Never heard of a dealer saying that. After running regular oil for a bit you can switch to a synthetic and easily get that 7500.

Welcome to the forum. This wasn't the salesman was it? I would take anything they say with a grain of salt. I would stick with whatever the manual says if using conventional oil.
