Default Replaced front brake lines - Do I bleed all 4?

Ok, so a front line let go and I replaced all the front hard lines and the rubber lines to the calipers. During this time the master cylinder probably leaked all it's fluid out the bunk line.

I did a bleed job on just the front and the brakes are comparable to before the brake job.

I was just curious if you would think air got in the rears as well?

brake fluid is hydroscopic , it will absorb moisture . you had the system open so ,yes you should bleed all the lines especially if you never have flushed the brakes by bleeding . start with the right rear , then the left rear ,then the right front and finally the left front . always belled brakes from the longest line to the shortest line . also remember the keep the brake reservoir full at all times , if you let it go to low air could get in the system and you will have to start over

Yes. If your MC level went too low, then air entered the rear brake line so, indeed, you will need to bleed the lines at all 4 wheels.
You should change your brake fluid every few years anyway. See http://www.aa1car.com/library/bfluid.htm

Best advice.. ^^

Start at farthest away from the Master.

You're already in there you may as well do them all anyway, NO shortcuts. Your life or someone elses may depend on your being meticulous or taking pride in ones work.

Off topic but those air powered brake bleeders make really quick work of this process. 😎👍

I'd bet with some experience with the tool itself you may be right. But the average guy may not be so well equipped or apt if you know what I mean. lol

I am not that different than many working in the garage, believe me. I have one of those 5gal air compressors and my buddy of mine brought over his fancy bleeder and it ran perfectly fine on it. I'm not sure on the price but you put the nozzle over the bleeder screw loosen it and pull the trigger and wait for just brake fluid to come through the lines. Super easy super convenient.

And I guess your right unless your doing brakes fairly frequently you probably won't need this but if you have a buddy that has one I wouldn't pass up the opportunity.

For our Rangers this is true... bleed sequence R/R - L/R - R/F - L/F

There are some vehicles however that use a cross bleed sequence;
L/R - R/F
R/R - L/F

Always good to check before cracking bleeders open!
