Recently I bought a little RCLB 2002, 3.0 and auto 2WD. Got it cheap with problems.
Today I fixed the exhaust manifold gasket which had fried #3 wire, I replaced that too.
Fired it up, sounds super, runs a little rough but nothing undrivable.
When you press on the throttle after warmed up idle goes to 3000 and starts pulsing, like its hitting some sort of rev limiter and bouncing.
I'm going to have the guys put a scanner on it tomorrow but if anyone has a clue perhaps I can get a jump on ordering parts tomorrow morning.
This recently happened to a Dodge 4.7 V8 I own and it ended up being a busted wire to the map sensor. Hoping the scan tool will lend a hint.
They had it hooked up once when I first bought it and we stopped at the cyl 3 misfire to fix that problem.
