Default Best Bed Organizer?

Looked around a bit and couldn't really find a thread devoted to this.
I'm looking for a good bed organizer for my 2000 Ranger.
The thing I mostly think of making me want something like this is simply grocery storage.
Ideally, it would I guess have some kind of brace so the whatever-it-is would not slide around/tip over.
And I would probably want to just leave it in there--not take it in and out.
(I will be getting a tonneau too, so it would be hidden...a little security there. But is there some kind of gizmo I could attach--an alarm--that would go off if somebody tried to remove without much forethought...?)
Just looking for some ideas.
I'd rather not build myself.
I do see on Amazon that there are some storage things available--usually for car trunks mostly though. But if I could find the right one of those, then buy a separate adjustable brace pole...
And I see on Amazon they do have some units made for trucks that come with a brace. I don't like the flimsy mesh ones though. Saw one that was sturdier and maybe okay looking, but still not wonderful looking...maybe I'm shortchanging it....
Ideas?

In looking at options on Amazon, I'm beginning to think maybe the best way to go
would be to buy a brace (see nice one for under $30), and then find the best size rugged plastic storage bins.

Buy a board that goes across the bed. Then get some storage totes and toss the lids. Cheap as hell but effective.

Yeah...kinda what I was thinking of.
Do you use a brace to keep the board in place?

I use 2 ratcheting bars with a net zip-tied between them. I believe my net is from the trunk of a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix. Got the bars from harbor freight but have seen similar/same bars in stores but can't remember where. http://www.harborfreight.com/ratchet...bar-96811.html

I have a tonneau cover and mostly use this setup to keep groceries from moving too far up front.
