Acually it does have a 410 rear end in it. Still not any type of power plant though. I kind like it that way with a 16 soon to 17 year old behind the wheel

I did notice one thing that I thought was odd, it has a fixed steering wheel. Looking at some of the Ford sites it looked like it should of been or included a tilt wheel from FORD.

Its a kid's truck...He doesnt need super power...My first "car" was a 93 3.0 ex cab...but it had tilt steering It had more than enough power to spin me out a couple times when I wasnt used to driving in the rain. Rangers are some of the safest vehicles Ive seen, as in people walking away from wrecks. I think the 3.0 is perfect for him. Here in a couple years, if he really gets into this truck, Im sure it will be a 5.0...when hes ready.
