Thumbs down Help! New rear window came with no nuts!

So I just got a new rear window for my 98 from Rockauto because a couple of the threads broke on my old one. One was rusted and snapped instantly.

The current window also had a water leak and because the window isn't torqued enough, water can still get in.

I open the giant box, pull out all the insane amount of packaging material, and no nuts to be found.

2 of the old nuts are missing and I've looked online and can't find any. I went in to home depot and their metric nuts are far, far too small.

I'm quite stumped. Perfectly good window that even said "hardware included", and I get nothing. Kinda pissed.

If you're willing to wait, rockautos customer care would send through hardware

Have you contacted Rock Auto?

Do you have an ACE hardware in town? That is where I get my one-off pieces. Or try a local auto parts store, but you may have to buy a package of them for a few dollars. Spend some penny's at ACE. Also you might have to wait a week for RA to ship your hardware.

So I didn't mean to keep this thread in limbo. Haha. Sorry guys. I should have gotten ahold of rockauto for that. I saw their "return/report a problem" page and it asked where it was sent from? So I thought maybe it was just gonna go through with a return rather than just a report.

I actually found some from LMC truck. They have a page with model year listings for parts from the old rubber style used on the Ranger (That is how they did them then, right? If I'm not mistaken, they started the bolt-in rear window design in 98) to back windows and whatnot. They had the nut/washer listing and I just got them today. Actual nuts aren't quite as thick as stock but look like they should work just fine.

Rocketrod, I'll have to keep that in mind. We have an ACE here in town a few miles away where I usually go for other things. Maybe their hardware would be better than home depot.
