Ive never tried fitting shocks onto a lifted truck like yours. The ones I've fitted have always been coilovers and deciding what type of travel numbers you want has always been the biggest factor. For example I'm waiting on my 2.5"x10" King coilovers for the front of my ranger. But I'd say for you the two things you need to worry about when fitting aftermarket shocks are your shocks collapsed length and extended length. I would say for your application check what the collapsed length for the shocks you have now is and then see what the extended length is and compare it to the stock numbers. If you have a 2 inch lift then it makes sense to have an extended length 2 inches longer than the stock length. If the one you already have is already 2 in bigger than try something 3 or 4 in bigger.

Good advice, thanks.
I did some referencing yesterday, and found that they sent front shocks for a regular, nonlifted, 2wd. That, even after our phone conversation. It doesn't appear ProComp offers out of the box shocks for the front.
I'm calling a Fox dealer if I get home early enough today.

Success, at last! Just ordered Fox shocks from SoCal Super Trucks. Jeff from there researched and cross referenced exactly what I needed. Turns out, front shocks for an F150 work on the front with my lift. Rear shocks are regular Fox for my truck. Should have called these guys from the start.
I wanted Fox to start with. Should be here early next week, then find time to install.
Now, to rid myself of the ProComps.

I'm impressed you got a hold of them. Fox is always a pain to deal with in my experience. That's one of the main reasons I've always went with Kings. They seem to be much more available. Hopefully it works out for you

I paid $520 shipped. Not "too" bad, but I usually think, you get what you pay for. I don't mind as much paying for quality.
Now that was SoCal Supertrucks I dealt with, not directly with Fox. Jeff from there answered every question I had, and we went over all the details.
I know King has good stuff too, are they price comparable as far as you know?

I'm not sure as far as your application goes but for the coilovers I've dealt with it is usually a little more expensive than fox. I think I spent 1450 for the shocks I bought (although that was at a discount through the fab shop I ordered through) and my guess is the exact same fox shocks would have been about 1200. King bumpstops usually run about 150-200 more as well, partially because the bump can for the Kings are pretty unique and not as common.

Also I usually try to deal with the company directly and to this day have never been able to contact Fox's offroad division. Whereas I have talked with King representatives a few times

That difference wouldn't be a deal breaker. Think I'll look up King, and see what they may have for mine. Good thing to keep in the back of the mind.

If they do have something that will work for you I would definitely recommend them over Fox. There is no better company than King when it comes to shocks.

Ya, my shocks should be here early next week, but that doesn't mean I can't send them back, still in the box. That will give me some time to take a closer look at what King might have.

So reading through this I see your front "lift" is just a tbar crank?
