not true - the head is the weakest link in the chain. losing torque has nothing to do with the intake - it has to do with scavenging exhaust quickly at low rpm with fast flows.

i logged my intake temperatures at various speeds today - it was 90 out.

highest intake temperature was 93 degrees at 45mpg, at 70mph intake temperature was 90; exactly ambient.

I don't think they would even notice it missing. It can't void anything even if they did notice it.

What's wrong with the cold air intake that came on the truck?

They flow more air than the engine can handle, as it is...
