i put a cold air intake in my 94 2.3 and saw a huge burst in performance so idk what they are talking about but it helped me alot

Sounds like you had a dirty filter. Could have saved a hell of alot just replacing it with a new stock one.

Dyno comparison says: Less Horsepower.

It simply separates one variable and shows with data and fact it does not increase horsepower.

Even with a "super44" the exhaust in the head(s) can not get out any easier, which is the restriction. Read my many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, posts about this and you will understand.

selling the truck this summer and buying a new ranger hopefully.

Not it didn't. You're imagining things. You probably also feel a performance boost when you put super premium fuel in it too, right?

well thanks for that bit on insider info! saved me lots of money. i'll have to look into this intake mod and throttle body mod.

I have kept using the same fuel 87 and everything the same but i am getting more air to the engine so it does help. i went from 100 to at least 105 and you can tell.

wouldn't mind putting a k&N in my pickup but don't think it would change anything but looks since my engine blocks cast iron n heats like mad in the hotweatherwe have now i drive 5 minutes its bakeing hot under the hood unless theres something i could mod on my 87 2.9l to cool under hood anyone know?

They all run around 180-200 degrees. Yours is not any hotter than anyone elses.
