Hello,

new to all this.

As noted above my ranger has ranged many a mile.

Car is all stock, sticker on front of engine bay
says I have a 2.0 motor.

Most rebuilt longblocks I can find are 2.3, so:

1. Will 2.3 bolt up to my 2sp '84 trans?
2. Can I upgrade to a V6, still keep a carb?
fuel injection is a mystery to me.

I just want a carbed/I can work on it/dependable
daily driver truck.

Any info would be appreciated.
