Taurus seats
I have on '03 Taurus with bucket seats (driver's side power.) I can't seem to sell the car no matter what I do, so I'm thinking of pulling out whatever I could use for my '08 Ranger. What are the odds that I can replace the seats with the seats from the Taurus? Would wiring for it already be there? Would they even fit?

Re: Taurus seats
Donate the car to a charity and you get a nice tax writeoff, I don't think much is compatible with a Ranger.

If they did bolt in I can almost guarantee they will not plug into your truck which is ok for the seat buckles because those are easy to swap. But in 2006 and up instead of a keyed passenger air bag deactivate they swapped to a pressure sensor in the passenger seat which nobody has found a way to bypass as of yet.

only negative to it is your whole airbag system is inactive when the light on your dash is on. With me I just didn't care, I've got an 08 and put in a set of custom explorer seats and just lived with the light on the dash

close, I have an 06 with keyed passenger air bag switch. His being an 08 you're still likely right. May have been an option you could get though.

Mine isn't keyed, where the key used to be is an MP3 input now. I always found the Taurus seats were really nice on long trips, but looks like they might be staying in it
