A small crew cab pickup with 4wd wont get 35mpg imo.

Dodge rampage, and VW pickup while only fwd could easily achieve that, but the issue I have with those are they are 2 seaters, and it was before this emissions crap.
The Baja is a 4 seater but was luckly to realistically pull 25mpg. and the bed was absolutely useless.
The sport trac and other 4 door short bed trucks don't get any better than full size v8 trucks so other than fitting out in the woods better not many perks.
No one here will want a unibody 4 door car like truck, but I think they could be very useful to a large amount of people. Myself included.
I have a powerstroke to drag heavy loads but it's over kill for heading out of state with my atv and a little 4 cylinder ramger doesn't fit the whole family anymore.
I absolutely hated Ridgeline, avalanches, sport trac, etc when I was younger but as I become more older and more of a pussy they do kind of make sense as an "all around" vehicle.
I think economical 4door pick up could be very useful
