I feel like there is going to be a let down on the bronco. It is almost like going to a sequel with a bunch of hype. You always end up disappointed saying the first was better.

Hopefully I'm wrong.

I'm kind of feeling the same. Will it even have a 2-door option? Body on frame? V8?

Absolutely, I don't think it will live up to what it should be, a wrangler competitor. It could be a solid vehicle like the fj cruiser was, but it won't live up to the original

I'm guessing a redesigned and rebadged flex, escape, or maybe even explorer.

No one here will agree but I'd like to see a small 30mpg, 4 door truck with a bed large enough to hual an atv.

Subaru Baja like only with a use able bed.

the issues with a smaller vehicle is that congress passed a law that by 2017, vehicles with certain footprints had to reach certain mpg. A single cab taco would have had to get 35mpg, so it was axed.

A small crew cab pickup with 4wd wont get 35mpg imo.

I feel the same, I would like to see a JK competitor or even a full size bronco based on the f150 but we'll probably get a 2 door, uni body, fwd explorer

If they bring the Aussie cab over here I won't be buying it. It's a Subaru Brat modernized.. I want a rugged truck..

the aussie truck is far more rugged than what was offered here. Not even a valid comparison to a brat...

Dodge rampage, and VW pickup while only fwd could easily achieve that, but the issue I have with those are they are 2 seaters, and it was before this emissions crap.

The Baja is a 4 seater but was luckly to realistically pull 25mpg. and the bed was absolutely useless.

The sport trac and other 4 door short bed trucks don't get any better than full size v8 trucks so other than fitting out in the woods better not many perks.

No one here will want a unibody 4 door car like truck, but I think they could be very useful to a large amount of people. Myself included.
I have a powerstroke to drag heavy loads but it's over kill for heading out of state with my atv and a little 4 cylinder ramger doesn't fit the whole family anymore.

I absolutely hated Ridgeline, avalanches, sport trac, etc when I was younger but as I become more older and more of a pussy they do kind of make sense as an "all around" vehicle.

I think economical 4door pick up could be very useful

Imo the style of truck we had here mechanically was more rugged here. The design was also much better too.. and they can't do much in the payload and towing department.. they can but not a whole lot so a comparison to a Brat isn't entirely incorrect....

what? They can tow more than the ranger here can.... The design is presronal preference, and the payloads arent that bad, better than the us ranger.

So explain how its similar to a brat???
