So here's a possible easy fix got my ranger back up and running. After I was quoted over $1,000+ from a mechanic. Rip off artists! Hopefully it helps

This is true, a lot of people think their transmission is going out and all it is, is the speed sensor.

That's right I was one of those people sadly my beautiful ranger sat in my garage a yr + because I assumed that it needed transmission work. What a relief it was when a speed sensor swap and a few trips around the block and it drives like a champion! Got a bunch of stuff done with the extra money!
