Default ranger almost finished

I went down to the dealership today to check on the progress of the repairs. They could not find an 05 box so they had to get a newer version. I really don't care for the newer style T-gates but I suppose I'll get used to it. It's almost finished so hopefully we will have it back soon so I can decide whether or not we will keep it or trade it in. Will keep everyone updated.

believe it or not, Kelly Blue Book lists this truck, in the condition it was in at $14,3--, don't have exact numbers. Rangers are very much in demand and are bringing premium prices with them. Also, this is a Ranger Edge with everything but 4wd.

Is this coming out of your pocket or through insurance?

luckily, I was hit from behind and the ins is covering the cost. If I had to pay, we would'nt even have this discussion because I would have stripped what was good and junked the rest and ordered a new one.

went to check the truck and test drive it yesterday, the truck looks good, except for the t-gate, it's from an xlt and our's is an edge. after following the tech to see if it tracks straight, bad news. we went back and measured front and rear distance on rear wheels and the L/S is about 1" inboard which means that the tube IS bent on the drivers side. now I will have to wait til they replace the whole rear end instead of the axle that they decided to replace. will keep everyone updated.
