Default 3.0 cold engine rpms will hang when foot removed from throttle

Hello my 2001 with a 3.0 automatic 138k miles recently has developed a problem on cold starts where when throttle is applied and the rpms increase they stay there any slowely come back down after throttle had been released. For example if I turn truck on and drive it on a cold start and I bring it up to 1600rpm and I remove my foot from the throttle the truck will continue driving at 1600rpm and the rpms will slowely come
Down including when I applie the brake. After engine is warmed up problem completely goes away. Started having this problem
A couple days after doing a seafoam treatment threw the motor smoked like a champion. So what are your thoughts? TPS sensor, IAC or something else? Thank you for any input

Well this isn't much help but I thought that was normal, when its below freezing out my trucks rpm will always hang if I give it gas while warming up, have a manual so it doesn't affect driving but I can see an issue with an auto, my thoughts are ignore it unless it affect driveability, but I wouldn't know what the issue could be

There made to idle up until the truck warms up.They say to preserve your engine, to not drive it until the idle drops from a cold start.
