That depends on what you want to do with it, if you're trying to have a weekend off-road toy you'll want 4x4, if you want to build a slammed mini truck then that will work for you. Most people recommend or prefer the 4.0 6 cylinder engine paired with a manual transmission unless you purely want gas mileage, but if it's a fun truck you might as well go big on the drivetrain.
