you probably paid more then it sold for new. sounds like a great deal.

if it makes you feel any better, I found my father an 07 fx4 level II with 15k miles on it last year.. he paid 16k

I feel good about the purchase already.

No one could buy a 2010 Ranger extended cab new for $15k.

The shocking thing is that dealers only give "Black Book" for trade ins and the Ranger you described books for $9600.......believe it or not.
The hate people have for car dealers is well deserved.

closest thing I found to your price and mileage

http://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/de...6419/overview/

yep, 4.0 and 4x4. I still think you got ripped, also think that example is too high but thats besides the point.

Lol that example is exactly my point.
It appears you are out of touch with used Ranger prices.

wait what?

we were discussing YOUR purchase, which was a 4 cyl 2wd. I provided a 4wd 4.0 for the same price which is exactly why I said you got ripped.

nice try though.

this one is on the house

You provided an example of two year OLDER vehicle that is not as well equipped and costs as much as what I paid as an example of how I paid too much?
Lol - the prosecution rests in the case of Ranger Forum against uninformed forum member.

Actually a Tacoma was my first choice but they are VERY proud of them! Better bring plenty of lube because you won't find one similar to the Ranger for under $20k

a 4.0 4x4 is a more valuable truck then what you got. so yes, I still think you got ripped.

kbb agrees. 12k retail for yours. again, as I said before, as long as YOU think you got a good deal thats all that matters. No need to cry about it

Sorry dude but my KBB shows $15k for the Ranger in excellent condition with a dealer warranty.
A 4x4 4.0 is only more valuable to those who want it. I wanted gas mileage and auto trans so I got the 4 cyl. I have had manual trans vehicles for the majority of my life. Manual shift on a vehicle is a waste of time and effort these days.

Lol but no doubt you can shift faster and more efficiently than an auto trans, right?

Just food for thought.

I got my 2007 Ranger (exactly like yours) with about 30k more miles for half of what you paid. That's including taxes and a 3 year warranty.

That dealer bent you over the table.

Also food for thought.

Ford makes really shitty Automatic transmissions.

Three years older with 50 percent more miles?
Yeah, I agree its worth a lot less than what I paid for a newer vehicle with less miles.
