I finally got around to painting my 2003 grille. Truck was painted right before I bought it (previous owner clueless on what paint) using a non ford color code so I matched it with gm best I could =)

I have a 98 ranger and a part out 04 explorer maybe I should do this

Just a heads up, I have seen many people try to swap over expos to Rangers and they don't line up perfectly (sometimes inches of gaps) so as long as you are prepared for that challenge jump on in, it'll look cool and original... plus many people would love to see it!

Well not messed up but it failed

I tried to see if it would line up correctly but it was going to be way to much work to fit it and I didn't really like the look of it

No I like what you did I was just trying to do it for free with stuff I already had

Hey for 40 bucks and a can of color match paint& clear from advance auto. World of difference. I also used a grinder but it's all inexpensive. But I see what your saying. I can send you the link if interested in doing that.
