I'm selling it today and buying a 2013 ford focus. Not the manliest vehicle but cool enough. As far as bells and whistles go its a hell of an upgrade over the ranger. I'm getting a smoking deal on it and its still under warranty. Eventually I will buy another to be a hunting vehicle but until then we will be a family with 2 focuses haha

Why sell the Ranger if you already have one Focus that could fit kiddie seats?. When ever you need to tote around the children use the Focus, problem solved.

We don't want to have to switch cars. With both working we will have to switch pretty frequently. Plus the ranger was showing early signs of timing chain problems. Can't afford that fix ha-ha

Plus I call this a win. Ha-ha the truck was getting about 14 to 15. I plan on buying another ranger cash in a year or two. Just an old cheap one for going hunting. It will end up good.

As long as you are happy with the purchase, that is all that matters

Re: 'tis a sad day..
I average nearly 40mpg on the highway cruising along at 80. I've gotten 42mph cruising 75mph all highway on the way out to Kansas City.
It's fun to drive though. I haven't done anything to it besides adding a homelink autodimming rearview mirror, tint the windows, hardwire my escort 8500 radar detector, and slap some NRA and Magpul stickers on the hatch window.

Rangers come in 'standard' cab, 'extended' cab, and 'super' . Don't be so quick to dismiss a Ranger if you haven't checked out all of your options.

???
...and if the man already had a "supercab" (functional half-doors only) as listed in his signature?
OP: Glad you got a vehicle you enjoy!

not in America. Only comes in reg cab (2doors) and extended cab(2doors 2half doors).. And there are no child safety restraints so no car seat. Nor would putting children in the back seat be safe at all considering they would be facing sideways with only a waist restraint.

Even so, a good amount of extended cabs are still, just 2 doors.
That would be a PITA to get a child seat in there (if it's even legal)

Re: 'tis a sad day..
There's no way in hell you could put a baby seat in the jump seats in a ranger. It's impossible. The only option for a car seat in a ranger is the passenger seat with the airbag off.
Mine sure as shit won't be seeing a car seat when the time comes, I have a Focus (ha...), and the wife has an Escape. I might drive my wife to the hospital in my truck when her water breaks, just because I don't give a shit about baby goo on the inside. That, and if traffic is bad, I can run over curbs and prius on the way to the hospital.

Thanks. Ruby Red tinted clearcoat. My favorite Ford color besides Tuxedo Black. I would drive a Ranger that color with black wheels.

Re: 'tis a sad day..
I love this generation of focus. I test drove a 2012 sedan for a couple days like a year ago and it was pretty quick for a N/A 4 cylinder. I would happily trade my truck for one. I like the hatchback version the most.
