I'm not sure what you're trying to compare current F150 mileage to then....as there is no North American version of the Ranger.

There is ZERO real-world information on what this mythical "return of the Ranger' would have as have as specifications go.

If you're looking for that specific information at this point of the game - you're looking to compare apples to unicorns.

The article merely references a vague potential desire of a Ranger return from the infamous "sources with knowledge of Ford’s plans".

Good. I hope Ford does jump back into the midsize truck game.

I loved my '01 F150 but when I decided to upgrade, even newer used F150s were way more than I wanted to spend. Not to mention huge. Trying to reach into the bed of newer full size trucks and being only 5'7 doesn't work too well. I use my truck as a truck and the Ranger fits that bill perfectly.

Logan, laying down the law. So much painful truth. Haha

Anyway the 2015 Colorado is great and selling like hotcakes if I'm not mistaken. New fullsize trucks have just gotten too big for many people so there is a market. And in most other classes Ford has better interiors, better performance, etc, so I'm excited to see what they have in store.

June is the latest month I could find sales figures for. Chevy sold about 6500 Colorado's in June. Whether or not that is selling like hotcakes or not is guess up to each to interpret. Same month Toyota sold about 16k Tacoma's. Doesn't seem like a big market to be bringing the Ranger back into, but we will see...

I only based that on how many I see around town compared to tacomas and frontiers, and any other new car of the past couple years. Which is quite a bit but that's as unscientific as it gets in guess lol

Well, total sales number don't take into account geographical differences, which can be real. And the Frontier sold something like 4k in the same month. But to be honest beating the Frontier is not saying much...

I don't use my truck. I just like having a truck. Plain and simple. Just like most people who have a truck now. They are replacing the family minivan

Doesn't make your desire to control what others purchase any more acceptable.

I find it hilarious when I see a Raptor that is a family minivan replacement.
