Are Rangers made by Mazda?
This sounds like a stupid question,but we're the Rangers built by Mazda?Or were the Mazda truck built by Ford.The new Rangers that aren't available in the U.S. look like the new Nissan Frontiers to me.Are the new ones made by Nissan?Anybody know?

My b2300 says this as well. But only on the door sticker. Go to a ford dealer and tell them you have a b series. They won't talk to you. I did it and they told me to go to Mazda. Told them no, there isn't a Mazda dealer around here and drug the dude outside to look at the door sticker where it says made by ford. Part numbers are the same anyway.

Some parts are made by Ford for Mazda, BUT NOT ALL!
If somebody calls me (as I work in the Parts Dept of a Ford Dealer) and wants me to look up Mazda parts, I DO NOT have catalogin for Mazda.
So YES, I tell them to call Mazda. But if they give me the part number off the part in question, if it was made by Ford for Mazda, then I can cross the number (all Ford part numbers are like this example: YS4Z-13550-AA.....Mazda PN#'s are different).
If I can cross it, GREAT, if not and you want me to look it up for a Ranger (which I have done, as it unbelievable how many people think Ford makes the Mazda), I'll look it up for the Ranger application, you'll prepay for it (all Special Ordered Parts are prepaid for) & when it come in, if its wrong, its yours, as I told you up front I don't have Mazda catalogin AND not all Mazda parts are made by Ford.
Just tellin ya like it is, as I run into this a couple times a week.

I mean its been goin on for YEARS >>>>
Ford Courier was made by Mazda for Ford
Chevy Luv was made by Isuzu for Chevy
Dodge Ram 50 was made by Mitsubishi for Dodge
Just to name a few...........

Wow, are parts salesmen really that retarded? If someone comes in for an alternator for a B3000, are you going to tell them you can't get one because it's for a Mazda? What about brake pads? If your dealer doesn't have a parts catalog for a FORD produced vehicle, then sounds like you work for a shitty dealer.
As for your other claim about Ford not producing the B-Series for Mazda:
Hmmm, looks like a bunch of Mazda B-Series trucks under a Ford sign parked next to what appears to be the old Twin Cities Assembly Plant.
